The Catwalk to Christ is the story of Robert John Grasseschi’s triumph over tremendous adversity.
Robert John holds the record as the all time leading scorer in basketball at his high school. He was the first player out of his high school league to receive a college basketball scholarship. He was inducted into his high school Hall of Fame, and his playing number was retired. When a life-altering knee injury steered him into the fashion world, he became a successful international model. In spite of his accomplishments, Robert John was haunted by a deep sense of inadequacy. He left modelling and returned to his hometown to join his beloved high school coach and mentor as an assistant. Those years proved to be a time of both great triumph and deep personal loss. Only after stumbling into the arms of our Heavenly Father did he experience the emotional and physical healing he so desperately needed. The book, The Catwalk to Christ, is his story. Part of the goal of sharing the gospel is through Robert John Entertainment. This organization continues to help produce and fund spirit led movies, books, videos, media projects, music concerts and outreaches. These projects also allow Robert John to continue to work with World Embrace to resurface and build basketball courts in Gulu, Uganda.
